Joseph L. Palazzi, President of Elm City Partners, LLC received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from QuinnipiacUniversity and a Master of Business of Administration from the University of New Haven. Joe is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut as well as a Certified Turnaround Professional. He is active in the Turnaround Management Association and currently acts as a Director of the local Connecticut Chapter. He is civically active having served on non-profit and charitable boards including DanburyHospital and Wallingford YMCA.
Joe, in his roles as a senior executive, has over twenty-five years of domestic and international leadership experience in the software, electrical, electronic and consumer goods industries. He has an established track record of successful corporate turnarounds in both mature and emerging business environments. Joe's recent experience includes directing a turnaround at a multi-national textile manufacturer. He has also recently performed financial and operational assessments in the textile, construction and manufacturing industries for several leading financial institutions. His expertise includes distressed debt refinancing, out-of-court restructuring and Chapter 11 proceedings, pre-petition planning and administrative compliance through formulating plans of reorganization and asset sales under Section 363 of the code.
Frederick J. Angelone specializes in corporate turnarounds and crisis management, with an emphasis on manufacturing financial restructuring and refinancing. With more than 30 years of business experience, and more than 20 years of experience serving in senior management positions, Mr. Angelone has most recently served as the COO/CFO of a privately held manufacturing entity that is a leading U.S. producer of powdered metal and thermo-plastic parts. He previously served as the CFO of a middle market electronic manufacturer specializing in the automotive market place.Drawing on significant "work-out" experience, he brings more than 20 years of experience in developing and implementing appropriate strategies designed to maximize corporate value for underperforming and distressed companies. He has advised and assisted a company in its successful financial restructuring and directed the successful sale and liquidation of a tier one automotive supplier. In addition, he has significant bankruptcy experience from both the Debtor and Creditor perspective, having successfully reorganized a number of privately and publicly held companies.
Fred is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut, holds a MBA from the University of Hartford and BS in Accounting from the University of New Haven. He is currently active on a number of for profit & non-profit boards in the New Haven area.
